Youth Ministry

Xtreme Youth, the ministry for teens and young adults at New Life Faith Center, is committed to helping teenagers demonstrate a growing love for Jesus in their daily lives.  Simply put, the Xtreme Youth group is committed to creating disciples.  To accomplish this important work, Xtreme Youth offers a variety of activities to engage teens and young adults with the message of the Gospel.

The words of the Apostle Paul to the young minister Timothy help guide our work:

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12).

To support our teens, New Life Faith Center offers several opportunities to help them know and show Jesus to the world:

Weekly Youth Group Meetings: On Sunday nights each week, students are invited to participate in a youth group meeting that includes Bible teaching, games, food, and fun.  These weekly meetings include a lesson with an emphasis on Biblical application and on transfer of the important message to the lives of the students in the group. These weekly meetings begin at 6:30 PM.

Special Events:  Throughout the year there are special opportunities for teens and young adults to spend time building their relationship with Jesus as well as with each other.  These events have included fun community-building activities (bowling, game nights, movie nights, etc.) as well as faith-building activities (attending Creation Festival, Witness Festival, etc.).  As these events are planned, families receive information about WHAT will happen as well as WHY.
